He's still here!

Mommas eyes never left the Gray man last night. She didn't get a wink of sleep, but he sure did. He seems to do so much better at night, not sure if it's the activity of the day time or what. We've even hit another milestone. He is tolerating 15 ml of feeding! 20 ml is his goal, but we never thought it would get that far. No residuals whatsoever for the past 2 feedings. I just know that he will get so much stronger if he can take more food.

I had to call Pediatric Specialties this morning because our portable oxygen tank is almost empty. We still have the machine that makes oxygen for him, but it only goes to 2 liters a minute. When he was doing badly we had to bump him up to 3 liters on his portable tank. It really only last a couple of hours at that setting. Hopefully they can bring us a new tank today, but the office is closed. Someone is supposed to be calling me back. We won't think about needing more oxygen right now though.

Grayson says Good Morning and thanks for the prayers. Another monkey is just a few hours away.

I didn't want to get up this morning and my husband said "don't you want to check FB. I immediately thought of Grayson and jumped out of bed. So glad he had a good night. I'll be waiting for 12:08. I'm just an old lady from NC who believes you are holding someone very special.

I'm another commenter that will start out by saying "you don't know us..." I found your blog through Kelly's blog. (I'm telling you - that girl should have a freeway named after her - she directs so MANY people to wonderful blogs - like yours.)
All that to say - our family has added your family to our prayers. Grayson's name has also been added to our church's prayer roll. Please whisper to Grayson (aka "Monkey Man"?) :) that he has touched many folks here in Florida - prayers and hugs and love know no state borders. God bless each of you!!!

Thanks be to God! Happy 4 day Birthday, precious miracle!

I wonder if your hospice helpers can pull some strings to get you that extra oxygen tank?

I have been reading your posts this morning, A friend sent me an email and told me to read these...I cannot believe what all you have encountered....I pray that little Grayson had another b-day today, I just happened to look at my watch to see what time it was, and it was exactly 1208, it made me smile and cry at the same time...I hope I got to celebrate a b-day with him too. You are in my heart and prayers always, I'm sorry for your pain. May God wrap his arms and love around you tightly.....always ~Bre
