Our wonderful internet service...

I can tell you there is no hope of getting a picture of Grayson's party much less a video on Youtube. Our wonderful satellite internet is running at a snails pace. Just know that Gray Man had a great surprise and my sign for his 4 day party was much BIGGER and better than his first 3.

Grayson hasn't left our bedroom today and probably will not. His oxygen sats have been mid to low 80's for most of the day. He's been tolerating his feedings, but for some reason he is worn slap out. Don't get me wrong though, he is still as cute as ever. We've increased his O2 to 3 liters via his nasal cannula, but it doesn't seem to be helping much. Dr Hall told us we could go up to 5 liters on him if we needed to, but it already seems like it's blowing so hard in his little nostrils. As long as he is comfortable we are ok.

Kristi & boys - you don't know us, but we "happened" upon your website from a link on one of our friend's in Chicago. Our little ones have oohed and ahhed over Grayson's photos (and monkeys, there may be a monkey stampede at our house today). We have also, just now at 3:30 central time, said a family prayer for your family and asked for BIG blessings for Grayson. We will keep you all in prayer and it is a privilege to do so. Your children are both lovely. With love - the Crawfords in Kansas

I don't know your sweet family- but I found your blog through another friends. Just wanted to let you know that I am praying for your handsome boy and the two of you- of course. I know that our Heavenly Father's spirit is very strong in your home right now, as you go through this trial. He is watching and aware of everything that is happening.

I think holding off on flooding him with O2 is a good idea (unless of course he needs it). I think he should be as comfortable as possible! He is adorable and I can't wait for your internet speed to kick up so we can see a new monkey little man got!

I wish I could remember how I found you...but I can't. I found your blog about a week before Grayson was born. I check on you about 4 times a day. You are in my thoughts and prayers all day. I am a wife, mother and MeMe in Alabama.

I just randomly found this blog and you don't know me. But I think that you are living a wonderful story and wish that God will bless your family richly. I also found this video, and it's about a family who had a little boy with Trisomy 18 (you can copy and paste the link into the search bar): http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/26184891/vp/31831893#31522948

I'm sorry to be posting so many comments. I keep trying to paste the url for the video onto my comment, but half of it keeps getting cut off. So the url from my other comment is not the correct url for the video. Sorry again!

Several months ago I found your blog and read of your sweet baby girl. I would be lying if I said my heart didn't hurt to read once again you and your husband would be walking this journey.

As a mommy I know what loving a child is like. I could not ever say I know how you feel and although I have not walked this road and may not be of most comfort, I felt from mommy to mommy I could reach out and say how very sorry I am. That you are a wonderful mommy and daddy for seeing the good and enjoying the precious time you have. I wish there were more healing words for you.

I am so grateful you were able to hear that cry and bring this sweet boy home. To read his story daily impacts me more than I could ever explain. Yet I still ask why? So many many times....

Hold eachother close, enjoy each and every moment, he is one lucky boy.

God bless,
Melissa

Kristi and Taylor -- we love the pictures of G-man and the monkeys. I'm glad to know the exact time of his birthday -- 12:08 -- so that I can take a moment each day at that time and think about all of you. We want to come and meet him when he gets a little stronger and you think it would be okay! I'm so glad you have lots of friends and family there for you and for him. You're amazing to be able to post all of this information for all of us who are far away. We've been thinking about you all every day, and are so thankful to read about each birthday day. Much love from Fayetteville!
